During this short course I learnt a bit more about what CLIL really is (or meant to be) and about its main characteristics. I realized how hard it is, not only by means of this course but also thanks to my Practicum, in which we had to implement CLIL/CRLL.
After this course I felt a bit more confident when trying to implement CLIL or CRLL methodology. I still think it is a methodology that requires even more coordination with your peers and that this methodology needs to be perfectly implemented or otherwise it will not work.
I also learned how hard it is for the teachers (language or other speciality), whose speciality needs to be combined with another one they do not manage that well. I thought I knew how hard it was, but it was not until I had to do it that I actually opened my eyes and see the amount of work and stress this methodology truly meant.
My perspective is also different. Now that I have studied, read, learnt and implement it, I realized that one of the major problems of this sort of methodology is that the students need some sort of linguistic support to be able to follow up the language contents of the classes.
For our project, we divided the tasks according to our preferences and contributed with a similar amount of effort/time.
