At the beginning of this module I was very skeptical about CLIL, and I had no idea about what CRLL was. However, after all the sessions I must admit I would feel less reluctant to teach in this kind of environment. On the other hand, I also confirmed what I already suspected: that teaching in a CLIL class, whatever the subject, is terribly difficult and definitely very time consuming for the teachers, as they must prepare a huge amount of extra material and train themselves in order to learn how to implement techniques and strategies to help students. Anyway, I finish this module with a much accurate idea of what CLIL and CRLL are and of the challenges that this kind of teaching imply.
About this project, in our group we decided to divide the work so we could work without meeting very often, as it was very complicated to do so while doing the practicum, especially because of our very different time tables in our schools. I would also like to mention that our first idea was to record our intervention in one of our schools, but because of time and other difficulties it was absolutely impossible to find the time to do so. Thus, we had to present the activity in class, which I think didn't really show the great potential of this activity. Actually, one of us did have the opportunity to implement the activity but for various reasons didn't have the opportunity to record it. However, I believe we designed a good activity that could help students reflect on some of the issues and topics mentioned in the project description, as well as developing some very useful English speaking skills.
