What did I learn in the course?
When I was in high school, I was taught via CLIL methodology. Now that I know how it works, I realize the project was not well done. I cannot remember very well since it was more than 10 years ago, but teachers hardly spoke in English and textbooks were in Spanish, but exams were in English.
How has the course impacted my future teaching and ideas? How has it contributed to my development as a teacher?
At the beginning of the course, I didn’t believe in this type of approach, but now that I have the knowledge, I have seen how it really works and, above all, I have experienced it in my practicum, I can confirm it is the best way of teaching a language.
What have I learnt with the project and how has it made me rethink/reshape my role as a language teacher? How have I participated in the course project?
During the project, I have observed how hard preparing a good CLIL lesson is. You need a lot of time, energy and good materials and ideas, but once you achieve them, the result is very gratifying.
